formVista(tm) does not need to do everything, but it must not prevent you from doing anything.
There is a tendency to want to do absolutely everything from within a framework. As is the case with all frameworks there are things that formVista does well and there are areas where it suffers.
Unlike many frameworks and as a result of it's ability to co-habitate with other code, formVista does not force an application to be 100% formVista. You can use as much or as little of the framework as you want.
It strives to make 85% of the patterns one encounters in typical web applications very easy and gives you the flexibility to choose the best approaches for the other 15%.
