formVista(tm) contains a thoroughly documented set of sample applications. It's called “formVista_demoshell”. This application shell and demo includes:
a password protected user administration system used to manage grants, groups and users.
a multi-user categorized article posting system/blog with a post article form, article browsing and the ability to search for articles by keywords, date, poster and category.
a calendar featuring recurring events.
a component gallery with examples of key components and features.
a minimalist example.
The demo serves two purposes. It demonstrates a number of the key features and concepts of the formVista framework and it provides a reuseable shell of an applications that you can use as a starting point for your own projects.
It is often better to copy a working component and edit it than to write one from scratch and as such there are examples of all the component types in the demo.

Please refer to the RELEASENOTES.txt, INSTALL.txt and README.txt files that accompany the demoshell for more information. Generally those files will be more current than this section of the documentation.
